Operator-Specific Data
For tow operators, we additionally collect: government-issued ID, business registration, towing licenses and credentials, CDL/USDOT numbers, insurance certificates, and background check information.

11. SMS Communications
TubiTow may collect your phone number for the purpose of sending SMS text messages. We send two categories of messages, each requiring separate, explicit consent:
Transactional / Service SMS
With your express consent, we may send transactional SMS messages related to your roadside assistance requests, including dispatch confirmations, driver ETAs, arrival notifications, service updates, and payment receipts.
Marketing / Promotional SMS
With your separate, optional express consent, we may send marketing and promotional SMS messages including offers, updates, and promotions. Marketing messages will not exceed 4 messages per month.
How We Obtain Consent
SMS opt-in consent is obtained via two separate, unchecked checkboxes displayed at the point of phone number collection on our website:
- The “Get Help Now” form on our homepage at tubitow.app
- The contact form on our Contact Us page at tubitow.app/contact-us
- Within our mobile app during account creation or service request flows
Each checkbox includes clear disclosure of the message types, STOP/HELP instructions, applicable rates, and links to our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity and account type. Transactional messages are sent as needed during active service requests. Promotional messages (if opted in) will not exceed 4 messages per month.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. TubiTow does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging rates may apply.
Non-Sharing of Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your phone number and SMS consent data are used solely by TubiTow LLC to communicate with you directly about the services you have requested or opted into.
Opt-Out (STOP)
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from TubiTow. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further promotional texts will be sent. Opting out of promotional messages does not affect critical service-related messages required to complete an active roadside assistance request.
